Where were you born/where did you grow up?

Born and raised in Magnolia, Texas 

Why do you choose to live a healthy lifestyle? What are the keys to success and the struggles that you encounter?

I chose a healthy lifestyle because I want to achieve my dream of going to the Crossfit Games. The struggles I have encountered on my fitness journey is overcoming a back injury. I slipped a disk in my lower back a year ago and had to take time off and go through therapy. I never gave up and kept a positive mindset that I will grow from my injury and become better. My keys to success are having a positive mindset, passion-driven, being persistent, and having faith in God. 

What was the best advice you’ve ever been given?  

The best advice I have ever been given was by my father. His advice was to enjoy life and do what you love. 

In your experiences what have you learned that has made the biggest positive change in your life?

From my experiences that has made the biggest and most positive changes in my life was choosing to separate myself from negativity and surround myself with only positivity. 

What advice do you want to give others who want to make changes in their life and fitness journey?

My advice to anyone wanting to make changes in their life and fitness journey is you can do anything if you give it your everything. 

What motivates you to be the fittest woman on earth?

To show women that you can do anything you put your heart and mind too. When I first began, I had many people tell me I couldn't make regionals. I stayed persistent, dedicated, and focused. Within a year I proved many people wrong and have been driven ever since. 

What's your favorite WOD? And how has CrossFit impacted your life?

My favorite WOD is Fran. I love thrusters and pull-ups. Crossfit has impacted my life by becoming a role model for women and for how a strong woman should look.

What advice do you have for beginners?

The advice I would give for beginners is we were all beginners once. If you stay committed through the tough days, you will become better and achieve your fitness goals.
